Looking back at recent projects and two in particular that saw the team at Racquet Studios commissioned by the production team at Future PLC and Games Radar.

The brief was to deliver the 41st annual Golden Joystick Awards and the Spring 24’ edition of GamesRadar's flagship digital games showcase, The Future Games Show.

The Golden Joystick Awards returned as a prestigious live event in the heart of London and saw Racquet Studios deliver bespoke staging, all audio/visual equipment, a large LED volume and provide a large crew with a live broadcast, which was streamed to multiple channels across the globe.

The Future Games Show was entirely different. A TV show format, the program takes a deep dive into the games' sector, featured more than 40 games across PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC and was hosted by the stars of Baldur's Gate 3 and Final Fantasy XVI, Samantha Beart [Karlach] and Ben Starr [Clive Rosfield].

The show was produced with a multi-camera setup with live composite and all assets produced in Unreal Engine prior to broadcast, ultimately reaching more than 8.5m global viewers.
