Roy Schoeman is, among others, an author of two best-selling books published by Ignatius Press – Salvation is from the Jews: The Role of Judaism in Salvation History, and Honey from the Rock: Sixteen Jews Find the Sweetness of Christ. God reached out to Roy using two supernatural experiences: the first was of “the veil between the spiritual and the material world being lifted,” giving him and infused knowledge of the Truth; the second was a dream in which he encountered the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through these experiences, Roy’s heart began to open to the Catholic Church, of which he is now a fervent member and continues to inspire many through his witness. Through his own Jewish background and his personal conversion, Roy now prays and works tirelessly hoping to bring his Jewish brothers and sisters to discover the fullness of truth and life in the Catholic Church.
