It is important to acknowledge the experiences that shape the adults that raise us, as it will give us an understanding to the ways in which they choose to raise us. And in turn be mindful of our experiences and the person they are shaping us into - as there are generations yet to come that are to experience the degree to which we have worked through our traumas.
