Scorecards Improve Quality of Health Services in Mozambique

Описание к видео Scorecards Improve Quality of Health Services in Mozambique

Performance scorecards and community scorecards are helping to improve the quality of health services delivered in Mozambique. A decentralized implementation of improvements to the quality of health services offered – in the areas of infrastructure, human resources, pharmacy, infection prevention and control, environmental health, and patient care, evaluated in real needs, and including community consultations – ensures better adherence and trust in services. Based on the story of the Dambo community and health center in the district of Maxixe, Inhambane Province, this short film frames the activities carried out and the results achieved in the context of the challenging impact that climate change has on the health service delivery system in Mozambique.
