Can a shadow catch a fever? José Lourenço's short stories...

Civil-engineer turned writer José Lourenço has a very innovative approach to his writing. He explains here (during a talk at the BITS Pilani, Goa campus, Vasco on April 15, 2011) about how one gets the inspiration to craft creative writing. Or the "process" and the "act of creation", as he terms it. What is the genesis, or the seed of the idea, which emerges into a short story?
