Train Grabbag #2: Life-Like EMD F40PH, FM C-Liner, Teakettle Steamer; Athearn Baldwin S-12, EMD F45

Second on the series where I bring you along to my workbench. Today we'll take a look at these locomotives:

Life-Like Amtrak F40PH along with its associated consist. I think these were sold in sets and the consist is actually pretty neat! It's a hobbyist set, but it's hard not to like no matter what your preferred level of realism is.

Like-Like Proto Pennsylvania Railroad Fairbanks Morse C-Liner

Life-Like "Teakettle" tank steam engine in Baltimore and Ohio livery

Athearn Blue Box Baldwin S-12 Switcher in Santa Fe Railroad (ATSF) livery

And, finally, the ubiquitous Athearn Blue Box Burlington Northern F45 6615. I think every serious Burlington Northern fan is required by law to own one of these.
