👉🏼 1 🇸🇪 Do NOT go outside without proper clothing

You will here it in Norway all the time! Do you want to experiment? Complain to any Norwegian that you are cold.. I guarantee the first thing you will hear will be ‘there’s no such thing as bad weather only bad clothes”
And then a typical Scandinavian advice: put some layers on!

👉🏼 2 - Think you are better than everybody else

Janteloven is a very important and unwritten law in Norway. It basically says ” You shouldn’t think you are better.” It doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have self-confidence, it is more about don’t be cocky no matter how professional or rich you are. Norwegians don’t like people who brag

👉🏼 3 - 🇸🇪 Do NOT forget to pay your share of the tab

After a long work week, Swedes love to go out to a bar with their colleagues to blow some steam off on so-called AWs (After Works)

This will never happen in Norway as there’s no ‘tap culture’ there. Pay for your own drink and be happy

Just to let you know, buying a round of drinks for 4 people in Norway can easily cost the equivalent of a return ticket. From the US

👉🏼 4 🇸🇪 Do NOT cut in front of people in lines

Swedes have a weirdly strong belief in queuing up for stuff, and an even stronger belief in the sanctity of the line order. Cutting in line might be one of the rudest things one can do in Sweden, and will produce a strong reaction from those you have just cut in front of

🇳🇴 Norwegians view queues in much the same way as sprinters view the starting blocks. When waiting for public transport, a Norwegian stands in an orderly manner until the bus comes into view

👉🏼 5 - Do NOT ask how much someone is making

🇸🇪 Most Swedes would be absolutely horrified if you ask them directly how much money they make

🇳🇴 the situation is slightly bit different in Norway. It is considered impolite to ask Norwegian how much he earns

👉🏼 🇸🇪 6 - Do NOT be late (or early) to an appointment
It is pretty much the same in Norway. Punctuality is very important

👉🏼 🇸🇪 7 - Do NOT sit next to someone on public transportation if there's room elsewhere
I bet you took this one from your neighbours, guys!

👉🏼 8 🇸🇪🇳🇴 another common habit shared between Norwegian and Swedish - Take off your shoes inside

👉🏼 BOTH SPEAK PERFECT ENGLISH

👉🏼 BOTH SUPER FRIENDLY
