Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer, mathematician and scientist. He invented the telescope (better version) and observed Jupiter, Saturn, Venus and the Moon. Galileo believed in the theory of Copernicus and denounced the Aristotelian view of the Universe.

Galileo Galilei was born in Pisa and raised in Florence, Italy. He taught at the University of Pisa and the University of Padua. He also applied to the University of Bologna. He presented his telescope to the government of Venice. He also worked for the Medici family of Florence. He called the 4 moons of Jupiter… Medici Stars… Galileo supported the Copernicusian theory vis-a-vis heliocentrism.
Galileo climbed up the Pisa Tower to demonstrate his theory of falling objects. This is how Galileo ended the theory of Aristotle. Galilei International Airport is also named after him.

Galileo was a friend of Pope Urban VIII. Galileo was summoned to Rome to face the inquisition. At the end of his trail Galileo muttered under his breath: and yet it moves.
