Dr. Jack Sayers is a Research Professor of Physics at Caltech. He is a cosmologist, investigating the nature of our universe and how it has evolved since the Big Bang. His work uses x-ray and radio observations to better understand the distribution of low-density gas between galaxies and around clusters of galaxies. Dr. Sayers did his undergraduate studies at the Colorado School of Mines before joining Caltech as a PhD student and later progressing to a postdoc and finally a Research Professor.
