First ones are a completely brands new concept introduced in Shadowlands. Most recently in Tazavesh and 9.1 we've learned more than ever about them and it turns out that they may just be the most powerful cosmological force in the entire universe. Possibly the architects of the universe, the creators and those that ordered everyone else.

From the little information that we do have it really seems like they came from somewhere else and ordered the entire universe. Very similar to what titans did to Azeroth, they came in, put everyone in their place and enforced order. Well could the First Ones not really be benevolent in any way? What if they ordered the universe for their very own designs and what if they are the true villains and bad guys of the Warcraft universe?
