Project Vanessa, custom 2017 Chrysler Pacifica

This 2017 Chrysler Pacifica is my tester but also a design office project. For starters I love this efficient multi purpose machine. It drives like it should cost 6 figures and will shame many sports cars on my favorite off ramps. All the while being the most functional thing you can park in any garage. We sweat the details on this all new design with body work that never stops blending into itself. The all new platform allowed us to package much larger wheels and place them at the proverbial corners. Seeking a .30 Drag coefficient we ended up with a design with what I believe to be fundamentally great proportions. So as all enthusiasts do...we saw a canvas for customization! In the spirit of the SEMA community we set out to create an alter ego for our latest MPV. It is actually virtually all stock with the exception of Blacked out grill/window surround trim, painted mirror caps and tinted badges. As with most customs...it's all about the wheels! We fitted (Brass Monkey painted) 22 inch wheels provided by Fondmetal and fitted with the fantastic 265/40/22 Pirelli Scorpion all season tires. It has covered 11,000+ issue free miles in this configuration and has been as far away from Detroit as California and Florida but this is simply a rolling concept...I am not endorsing these mods as they have not been validated by engineering at full GVW etc. Hopefully it will inspire our Chrysler brand team to do something for the public! In the meantime there is the SEMA community!
