Tech assist needed: Is this Vapor Lock? Used a garden hose to cool the fuel pump; see what happens. Can't get this engine to hold idle at 185 operating temperature; this occurs when vehicle is stopped (five minutes) - example: waiting in a long line at the drive thru after engine is at operating temp.

Glass fuel filter starts to bubble and then fuel level goes down.

I understand if I install a return line, I won't get this problem. My 1956 gas tank does not have a return line. Is there a way to do this with out drilling into the tank?
