Best Mountain Biking in Tucson, AZ - Lemmon Drop

The Lemmon Drop loop in Tucson is a highly technical, scenic, exhausting ride on Mount Lemmon on some of the best trails in the region: Green Mountain, Bug Springs, AZT Prison Camp, AZT Bellota and La Milagrosa. The Bug Springs segment is probably the most popular trail on Mt. Lemmon and one of the most popular in all of Tucson. There are lots of drops, switchbacks, and plenty of exposure. And just to make it more interesting there are a few hike-a-bike segments to make it a physically challenging day. However, don't let the physical or technical challenges discourage you, this is a fabulous expert ride which will leave you with a significant sense of accomplishment and a reward for having earned those beers at the end of the day.
