Exmortis 2 is the sequel to the first game, continuing the story after the events from the house in the woods. The Exmortis were released, and wreaked havoc upon the earth. Humanity is near extinction, only fragments of the resistance is still alive.

The Exmortis series is one of the most famous from the days of flash horror games. It had a good, detailed, and terrifying horror story. The game made it worth it to read the books. I probably won't play the third, since it's not a good game. It's the least popular of the 3, and is too convoluted.
