Old Mining Buildings in Fort Mountain State Park

I found these old buildings while exploring in the wilderness at Fort Mountain State Park in Georgia. It is a very beautiful place to experience and there is a lot of history to learn about in the area. Some of the history involves the mining industry, I am not exactly sure what was mined here but from what I read so far it was talc and gold. Perhaps these buildings are leftover from some of those operations... It is nice to see them still here and being able to learn about the history, if you discover the history in this place please be respectful of the sites. It is a State Park but is a very a large area to explore so be safe and study the maps.
