Kolkata PG Doctor Found Dead : Protests Erupt & Murder Case Filed | West Bengal | News9

A 31-year-old post-graduate trainee doctor was tragically found dead inside the seminar hall of the government-run RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. The Kolkata Police have registered a murder case and formed a Special Investigation Team to probe the incident. The death has sparked widespread outrage in West Bengal, with medical students and BJP workers staging protests. The victim, a second-year PG student, was discovered unconscious and later declared dead. Resident doctors at RG Kar Medical College have demanded an immediate investigation. BJP leader Amit Malviya has accused the Mamata Banerjee government of attempting to cover up the incident.
