Seriously, how is this thing leaving prints in the snow for me? Time to fight the dragon whose name reminds me of Velstadt from Dark Souls 2. We saw it freeze-dry a bunch of wingdrakes, largely ignoring us for some reason, and now we're after it, too!

I had been wanting to play this game for such a long time. As a Dark Souls fan, I've heard no shortage of this game being compared to my favorite series, so I naturally had to try it out. Monster Hunter World is also a game that friends of mine, most notably Dustrat, CJ, and CPPop, would like to join me for co-op from time to time.

While this is a blind playthrough, I'm not terribly against spoilers for this game, as I understand that there aren't really that many story elements to spoil in the first place. However, I would greatly appreciate not backseating, please.
