Getting over Shingles by Kerry-Lou

This video is about my personal experience with Shingles. The Shingles virus effects one out of three people over 60 years old, and many younger people also. Since a lot of my followers are over 50, I wanted to share this cautionary story, hoping that it may save some people from going through this unpleasant experience.

About five months previous to my getting Shingles, my doctor suggested that I have a Shingles vaccination, which I heard is 95% effective now, (The previous vaccination is 50% effective). Oh, how I wish that I had taken her advice!

I was diagnosed with Shingles within 48 hours, and started treatment with an oral anti-viral medication, and a topical anti-viral cream. The rash was still very uncomfortable, but would have been a lot worse left untreated.

The first symptom for me, was a circular, red rash on the inside of my arm, with quickly spread down my arm. The rash turns into nasty yellowish blisters. Watch the video to find out more.
