The INFINITY propellers - Foxeer Donut

A few months ago, toroidal propellers were a HUGE thing in the internet. Especially 3D printed one for FPV drones. Everybody was printing and testing them. According to a paper from MIT, they are supposed to be quieter and more efficient than traditional propellers.
It was only a matter of time before drone parts manufacturers put something mass produced on the marker. Don’t get me wrong, 3D printing is great, but 3D printed propellers will be subpar to molded ones.
Here come the Foxeer Donut, the 5” toroidal props you can buy and use even if you have no 3D printer. The question is, is it worth it? Are those toroidal Foxeer Donut good FPV props? Or not so much?
