Kedara Gowlai - a very ancient traditional Carnatic ragam, finds it's usage in many classical Kritis. This piece was originally intended to be an instrumental composition portraying the beautiful usage of the note 'Ga' in the unique phrase 'Sa Ri Ma Ga Ri'
However as the composition came to life, the music began singing back to me and hence with the beautiful lyrics by Shri Gangai Amaran sir, and the support of some brilliant musicians who helped add a contemporary flavour, I present to you my take on this beautiful raagam!
