WHAT'S TRICK ROOM? Pokemon Reborn Yang Mod Intense Mode Part 12.75(Elite 4 & Champion Mono-Electric)

The mono-Electric run was done by Pyuku and they struggled a lot against E4 especially Laura & Bennett and Anna to a point of getting so frustrated, so we thought they probably needed some help. The other reason I did this was testing whether mono-Electric is possible to beat E4 & Champion (if there's a monotype impossible to beat the game then the mod will require to be reworked). We eventually beat E4 even before they did and provided our team to them. They however, refused to use my strategy with ego and ended up beating the game with their own team after hours as well. We had finished mono-Normal and we didn't do the entire mono-Electric, so the winner for Electric is still them.

Electric is easily one of the hardest types for Yang Intense, from beginning to the end. It is also unarguably the most difficult type against E4 & Champion. As we mentioned in previous video, Trick Room is the most prevalent strategy for the entire mod. However, if you check the movesets of Electric types, you will notice there's NOT A SINGLE Pokemon that can learn Trick Room. Moreover, Electric also lacks setup sweeper, which makes Anna incredibly difficult. Albeit, all of the E4 are especially challenging in their own ways.

When we did team-building, a certain Pokemon caught our attention. It has Sap Sipper and Me First, enabling us to have a crazy idea against Laura & Bennett. It turns out to be a big success. Togedemaru is chosen to handle Arceus and many other giant threats. Kilowattrel has Tailwind and Defog as our methods against Heather and Anna. It is also extremely fast to ouutspeed most Pokemon. Magnezone and A-Golem have Sturdy and Mirror Coat/Counter to further deal with immense threats. Sandy Shocks has Meteor Beam against Lin and a wide movepool for most Pokemon.

The Laura & Bennett AI will always use Wisteria Maelstrom if we don't have Wide Guard. Otherwise, the chance will be 50/50. Kilowattrel runs Hurricane instead of Air Slash so Supersonic Strike deals enough damage to Elias' Kommo-O. Magnezone holds Lansat Berry and we need 50% chance of CRIT on Anna's mega-Altaria.
