Canberra, The Capital of Capitals for Astro-Photography

Описание к видео Canberra, The Capital of Capitals for Astro-Photography

Canberra is one of the best cities in Australia (and possibly the world) for astro-photography and stargazing. It has very low humidity and less light pollution compared to other Australian cities. Its inland location and height above sea level cause its dry climate to be an ideal place for photographing the Milky Way and getting sharp, pinpoint images of the stars. Although you can still photograph the Milky Way right from the middle of Canberra, to get the best results you'll need to drive about 30 minutes away from the city lights, see here, timelapses don't lie 🙂.
Meteor lovers check out there is heaps of meteors, persistent trains and also Aurora Australis 😍 or isn't it? I let you decide that :).
Thanks to the ease of restrictions we are starting our Milky Way photography workshops again from next Saturday (fully booked).
There is some spots left on our next workshops or book one to one with me via my website. https://www.arirex.com.au/calendar
I hope you enjoy this compilation of timelapse I have taken to show you some new spots where we will be having some of our workshops. These spectacular balconies to the universe are all located in private properties very close to Canberra city in which I have access granted from our amazing local owners.
