UN secretary general speaks at SCO Summit in Astana

United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres delivers his remarks at the Shanghai Co-operation Organisation (SCO) Summit in Astana on Thursday, July 4. The SCO is expected to expand, with Belarus set to be granted full membership. China’s President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin will attend the summit in person, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not be present. The annual SCO leaders' summit takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan on July 3-4.
