Update on Eskom's power stations

Electricity Minister Kgosientso Ramokgopa is promising that between now and February next year, Eskom will add an additional 2-thousand-800 megawatts to the grid, reducing blackouts by two stages.
Ramokgopa was briefing the media a short while ago on some of his findings after visiting several Eskom power stations.
He's also highlighted the poor quality of the coal at Eskom and the low morale among its employees. Dr Ramokgopa says the problems at the power utility are related to technical issues. Eskom is currently implementing stage four rotational power cuts.
