If you are doing a job as a professor and wanted to become a cyclist and you are successful in your teaching profession, you might be successful in the society by their lens, but you are still not successful in your own eyes. This example defines my first element, finding your purpose and passion in what makes you happy. So finding your purpose and passion what makes you happy is the first element of being successful in life. If you haven’t done that, do that. So success is all about Working on your passion without compromising your profession.

The second element to become successful is to be able to set and prioritise your goals as per your age, stage of your life and expectations of your friends and family members. The same example applies to an athlete or a potential footballer or a budding tennis player as they need to set their goals and expectations right by starting to win in local school, interschool and county level matches. So setting and prioritising your goals is the second element of being successful in life.

The third element of becoming successful in life is to able to take care of your health and do those activities which keeps you fit and fine. You might be a big corporate honcho and earning millions of dollars but if you are having high BP, high sugar, not even finding time to go for a walk. To take out time for walking every day, spending 30 minutes every day for doing meditation or yoga and having a balanced or vegetarian diet is being successful. So taking care of your health and fitness is the third element of being successful in life.

The fourth element of becoming successful in life is to have a fulfilling and rewarding career. Beyond your family and being at home the maximum time people spend at their workplace. So having a rewarding and fulfilling career is the fourth element of being successful in life.

The fifth element of becoming successful in life is to have a happy family. If you are in a good relationship, have understanding wife, supporting parents and adorable kids with whom you are able to find time for sharing bedtime stories, you are successful. So being happy with inner peace due to having a happy Family is one of the most important element of being successful in life.

The sixth element of being successful Is life is being surrounded by 4 to 5 close and joyful friends, in your passtime, which helps relieve all your pain, work pressures etc. So having a bunch of joyful friends is another element of being successful in life.

The seventh Element of being successful in life is about your ethical contribution to the wealth and economy. This might sound materialistic, but this is a reality. There are curious enough people every year to pay for that. So having your own contribution to the growth of world economy is another element of being successful in life.

The eighth element of being successful in life is about what you do for others in your own capacity at various stages of your life. As a student planting a tree, helping a senior citizen in crossing a road is a good deed. Being a youth and being able to participate in dharna or rally in support a good societal cause or Involved in cleaning of community spaces and running for charity and fund raising Might make feel you happy and successful.

The ninth element of being successful in life is to be a little bit religious and spiritual in nature. At the same time you have to ensure that you respect all the religions equally and do things which helps in spreading positivity and brotherhood amongst the people of different religions and races and ensures peace in the society.

The 10th and the last element of being successful in life is to measure that what have you done so far for your own country and for the benefit of the fellow countrymen. Everyone who dreams of living a life like that of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam or that of Mr. Narendra Modi Or that of Sh. Mahatma Gandhi who had sacrificed their own material well-being for their own country. So having a genuine concern for the development of your own country and the world at large Can make you really successful in life.

So to summarise what success really means to me is the sum total of the above 10 elements and also working towards developing those traits which are common to the most of the successful people such as working with passion, persistence and striving to achieve the goals you have set for yourself and not which, are imposed by your friends, family, job or society.

So Success means bringing smiles to the faces of millions of people and being able to impact their lives in a positive way by following and balancing these 10 elements of success.
