The Kerala Police have arrested the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) leader LS Dhinda. He was wanted in the massacre of over 100 people including women and children. NDFB, a terrorist organisation banned by the central government, had some 250 members fighting against the Assam government, of which they lost about 50 to 100 in the last one year, he said. Dhindha escaped from Assam and stayed with some migrant labourers In Kerala for the last one month. He was put under surveillance for the last few days. Dhindha has been arrested under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and will be handed over to Assam police later.
