TWISTED METAL ONLINE - 2v2 | Darkside | Ghost Town Gulch - Jan. 01, 2023

Darkside is the mainstay "tank" style choice of Twisted Metal Online, and also one of my favorites to play.

The classic Online Darkside had damage reduction while in special boost and can even boost backwards. They removed those aspects in the PS3 title unfortunately to add an unfitting turret on the top and mines in the back.

Darkside is a strong melee threat that can protect teammates very well with its large size, and draw attention away from the smaller vehicles by staying on the front line for prolonged periods of time.

It massively benefits from the "Mercy Bonus" that is left behind upon enemy (or teammate) death which heals 20% of its max HP instantly.

It can however be overwhelmed easy by ranged fire and keepaway tactics, so it Is not always the easiest to handle in duel or ambush situations. This match showcases what a monster it can be when played to its strengths.
