Medical Play

Since we are unable to hold in-person group activities, we've expanded our virtual programming on our Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). Through this format, we're still able to promote normalcy, socialization, and encourage coping techniques. We held our first medical play session on CCTV earlier this month. Participating patients were given a medical play doll and kit in order to familiarize themselves with medical tools and procedures. Patients also called in throughout the live session to answer trivia, ask questions, and choose which medical procedures were demonstrated.
