The final round of WBL’s multi-class EA WRC Championship takes us to the brutal Rally Agon Pacifico in the classic WRC 1997-2011 era. I chose the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRC, but in this fixed-setup league the default configuration felt far too soft the car constantly squatted under power and became jumpy over crests. As if the driving wasn’t hard enough, I also had to fight both wrist pain and a shifter that kept sticking in lower gears, making every stage a physical and technical battle. From the second half of the penultimate stage, my focus completely collapsed, leading to costly mistakes and heavy time losses. For now, I’m the only finisher and sitting provisional P1 but with a run this messy, it’s only a matter of time before others push me down the order.
