No tornado was produced, however this supercell storm became massive as it had an extreme amount of instability to work with MLCAPE values pushing 5000 J/kg. Although it didn’t produce any tornadoes, this storm was one of the most intense and menacing looking storms I’ve seen.
There were many reports of severe hail up to 1.75 inches, (golf ball sized) throughout Goodhue and Wabasha Counties. Doppler radar also indicated wind gusts as high as 75 mph. The storm also exhibited an extreme amount cloud to ground lightning, nearly continuous at times.
