My name is Rey and not too long ago I left my corporate gig after fasting and walking up the Lost Mine trail in Big Bend National Park as a day trip.

What occurred to me was that my time to see these places would be increasingly limited. The damage we appear to be doing to our parks (and ourselves) is challenging enough without the increasing ferocity of the weather patterns that we and our counterparts in nature are facing.

I have also shared segments in the past where I collect items of garbage located throughout these formerly respected areas and where I ask for $1 for each piece of trash that I pick up and dispose of or repurpose properly.

In one segment, I nearly broke my wrist after hiking an extreme off trail area in this very referenced park, Big Bend National Park, where even in that remote area there were remnants of one time use plastic items damaging the ecosystem. I actually split my shorts in that clip and if you were walking with me at the time, you'd have been able to see my underwear after the fall that tore not only my shorts, but the skin on my knee and some ligaments in my wrist.

If nothing else, I hope you are able to share the clips you find interesting and/or entertaining on your own social media platform.
