Nepal, July 12 (ANI): Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) decided to withdraw its support from the government after its coalition partner CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist)) did not implement the nine-point agreement read between the two parties on May 5. The decision of the Maoist Center, which has 83 lawmakers in the Parliament, to pull out of the coalition has rendered the government into a minority government. The CPN (Maoist Center) organised a press conference at its parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar on Tuesday and announced that the party had pulled out of the coalition government. On the very same day that the Maoist Center quit the government, the party has claimed that a new government will be formed under its leadership. Party's influential leader Krishna Bahadur Mahara said the new government will be led by Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal with the backing of Nepali Congress. Even if the Maoist Center and NC unite, they lack a majority to form a government by a small number.
