Great World City (GWC), a mixed-use development in Singapore's River Valley district, consists of a shopping mall, office towers, and serviced apartments.

The project involved revitalising its unique indoor-outdoor office lobby to enhance its architectural appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere. The design integrated biophilic elements, connecting the lobby with its natural surroundings and promoting well-being within the high-traffic workspace.

The refurbishment modernised the lobby by updating outdated materials and emphasising natural light, replacing older elements with limestone and sleek metal inlays.

To foster an inviting ambience, the design included stylish seating areas and improved lighting. The new entrance design accounted for weather conditions, ensuring resilience against the elements, while a redesigned canopy allowed for more natural light, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
