Rocky Mountain National Park - Day 2

As in our Day 1 video, we start the day at the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. As we head into the mountains and approach the Continental Divide, a steady rain turns to snow. Given that it is July 2, 2024, this proves that it can snow any time of year in the Rockies. The snow persists as we drive through park's high points above the tree line and begin to descend to the east side of the park. As we drive on, the snow eventually changes back to rain.

On the east side of the park, we take Bear Lake Road to the lovely Bear Lake. After enjoying some views of the lake, we head back down Bear Lake Road and make a stop at Moraine Park before exiting the park to the east.
