Starting from Reykjavik, the first stop is the dramatic rocky scenery and lakes of Þingvellir.
This historic location was the site of Iceland's parliament from the 10th to 18th century.

Many of the scenes from ‘Game of Thrones’ were filmed in this area.

Next it’s on to the famous Strokkur geysir which erupts every 5 - 10 minutes and tries to catch you out.

Finally it’s the impressive #Gullfoss. These waterfalls are one of the most popular attractions in Iceland and are definitely worth the trip.

These are just the highlights, there many other places worth visiting and exploring in your own time.

TIP: There is a lot to do on the Golden Circle and one day is not really enough. There are plenty of places to stop so take your time and really enjoy the sites without the rush.
