I’ve been to two sporting events this year and haven’t been able to access my digital ticket to get into the event because I had no cell phone service. Sometimes when many people are in the same place at the same time and using cell phones, cell phone service will drop, or it can drop for other reasons as well. I bought my tickets for this baseball game on StubHub, and I took a screenshot of the purchase so I knew where my seats would be. I was without cell phone service for more than 30 minutes, trying to get into the game, and I asked the security guard what to do. They told me that I could go to the ticket window, where the team sells physical paper tickets, and then tell them my seat number, and they will verify my name or email address to make sure it’s my seat, and then they would print me a ticket. This is what I did, and it worked great. Once I told them my name, they printed me out a ticket, and I used it to get into the game. I recommend always taking a screenshot when you buy a digital ticket so you know where your seat is. This will save you a step. Unfortunately, most apps won’t let you take a screenshot of the QR code you need to get into the game. Many apps have a QR code that expires in 60 seconds. That means the only way to get in would be to talk to someone at the ticket window. I hope this helps you if you have trouble using a digital ticket because you have no cell phone service at a concert or a sporting event.
