BP Junior Championships 2018: Luke Richardson

We drove up to the L R Strength Shed, just north of Leeds, and spoke with 21-year-old Luke Richardson, who's preparing for the British Powerlifting Men's Junior Classic Championships 2018 on the 14th October.

Luke Richardson is the reigning IPF 120kg+ Junior World Champion, making him the strongest Junior lifter in the IPF. He intends to become the first Junior lifter regardless of federation to total 1,000kg raw at this competition, which only a handful of senior lifters have done.

Luke deadlifted 375kg (23.5kg below the senior world record, held by Ray Williams) and talked to us about his training, his nutrition, and his plans to transition to Strongman after finishing the Junior's in Powerlifting.
