Invictus Australia Chairman James Brown has described Anzac Day as a "special" and "solemn" day.

This comes amidst numerous Anzac Day services and commemorations taking place across the country.

Mr Brown told Sky News Australia “this is a day when we can all be proud to be Australians”.

Amongst the celebrations, the Invictus Australia Chairman warned “the Pacific is still not at peace”.

“It’s critical we have a well-prepared defence force,” he added.
