Car and bike tyres can be inflated either with regular air, or with nitrogen. Regular air top-ups are mostly free at petrol pumps, or about Rs 10-20 at tyrewalas. Nitrogen can cost upwards of Rs 50, even for a top-up. So what’s better? In theory, 95% pure, dry Nitrogen is better and has some benefits but not as much as to affect your regular road use. 4th-grade science textbook will tell you that air has 78% nitrogen.
