Handbag Facelift | How I removed the stickiness in the pockets of my Louis Vuitton Compiegne 23

Hello everyone. I won this beautiful Louis Vuitton Compiegne 23 makeup trousse on eBay for less than $100...the only problem? Both the outside and inside pockets had begun to peel and started to get sticky. This is a common problem with vintage LV's and is one of the reasons that they tend to sell cheaply on ebay. However if you know how, removing the stickiness in the pockets and restoring them to use is a very simple process. All I used was acetone nail polish remover and cotton swabs. It takes time and patience but in less than an hour and a half I was able to remove all traces of stickiness and peeling from my pockets. I also show a brief tutorial on how to make your zipper rails run smoothly quickly and easily. Now my bag is all ready to be dyed and put into rotation in my travel sets.
