The definition of homestay has been greyed out greatly in recent times due to the boom in tourism and too much commercialization killed pretty much the essence of it. Every now and then you come across a few stays that keep it pure and simple, @mannapaapumane is one of the breathtakingly pleasant experiences of 'homestay I have come across especially by the dreamers like Purushottam Adve and passionate people like @_life.throughthelens_ .

One of the best experiences we both had in the foothills of Kudremukha in this quiet village away from the city. I only regret not being here sooner and can't wait to go back again.

'Paapu' in Tulu means small bridge made of soil by which the name of this home lovingly called 'Mannapapu mane' ❤️

If you love loud music and party then this isn't for you. If you like quiet time with nature and have immense love towards nature, do visit. Oh, also Mangalore style veg food with so much variety!!
