TRADITIONAL MUSIC SESSION | Bwlch Llanberis | ft. Clywedog Reservoir

Описание к видео TRADITIONAL MUSIC SESSION | Bwlch Llanberis | ft. Clywedog Reservoir

Traditional music sessions are on hold at this time due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A new series of videos for 2020 - 21 features previously unseen footage of traditional music sessions from the last two years in Mid Wales pubs. This session set is combined with video clips from a recent walk at the Clywedog Reservoir, not far from home, one of our favourite places in this beautiful part of the world.

This session took place in November 2018 at The Whistling Badger pub in Llanidloes, Mid Wales.

Tunes

1. Bwlch Llanberis (Llanberis Pass - traditional tune)
2. Charlotte Russe (original tune by Ceri Matthews)

Clywedog Reservoir

The reservoir is just a few miles from the market town of Llanidloes in Mid Wales. It was created when the River Clywedog, a tributary of the River Severn, was dammed in 1967 to regulate the flow of water into the river system and help prevent flooding further downstream.

The Clywedog Reservoir is popular with visitors to the area who enjoy the spectacular views - whether sight-seeing, bird-watching, walking, fishing, or cycling.

Clywedog Reservoir is managed by Hafren Dyfrdwy. You can find out more about the area here: https://www.hdcymru.co.uk/wonderful-w...
