HBCU Love: Towanna and Areaka | Bennett College

Legacy is defined by the gifts of our ancestors which is why HBCUs belong to all of us. But these sisters Areaka & Towanna epitomize the word legacy by following their great aunt's footsteps to @Bennett_College in Greensboro, NC. In the 1940s, their Aunt Anne Marie was the first in their family to attend college and her example inspired them to attend the all girls HBCU...and next up are their daughters. This is sisterhood through and through and a family #HBCULoveStory! In partnership with @Target, Black Love is sharing love stories from HBCUs all over the country....and we only have one week left.
