I’m particularly interested in these for their sound quality. They make the claim that they are tuned by a Grammy winning sound engineer which sets the expectation quite high.

I think they really deliver on this and the sound quality is definitely very good at this price.

I want to clarify that I am not a fan of artificially boosted bass. When I mention that these have great bass, I mean compared to other earphones, not the rest of the frequency range. However I do think it is probably tuned a bit too heavy.

For context, I avoided comparing the sound quality with the normal AirPods because it wouldn’t be fair to compare the in-ear style with them. For the record though, they do obliterate the normal AirPods in terms of sound quality!

I will update this page if and when I get the chance to listen to the AirPods Pro.

The noise cancelling features are all very effective and the overall experience is, for the price, indeed notable.
