About Grumpy and this channel:

I’m known as Grumpy because of my grandson….Gramps turned into Grumps which turned into Grumpy. I’m not really Grumpy! At least most of the time I’m not. My actual name is Matt.

I decided to start a YouTube channel in November of 2023 and I posted my first video on Thanksgiving. My intent is to show everybody that anybody can do this…as the saying goes, if I can do this then ANYBODY can. I just enjoy it greatly but what I enjoy even more is seeing people happy and if my smoking/grilling/cooking can make you happy then I’ve done what I think I was put on this earth to do..make people’s lives at least a little better!

I try to make simple things or at least make the more complex things a little simpler. But I like to do it with a ton of flavor and make it fun as well.
