#1 Seed Chatsworth led by McDonald's All-American Alijah Arenas took on #4 Seed Palisades in the CIF LA City Section Open Division Semi-finals. To no one's surprise the first points of the night belonged to Arenas casually stepping into a deep three that shredded the net. From that point on, Chatsworth was up and running never trailed in the ball game.

Chancellors senior CJ Gore played exceptional defense collecting 4 steals while also scoring 14 points. Sophomore Tekeio Phillips had a great shooting night with 12 points. Another bright spot was big man Taj Unuakhalu who racked up 21 rebounds and blocked 5 shots while also scoring 7 points. The night belonged to Arenas though putting up 31 points including a pair of thunderous dunks.

Palisades hung in the game throughout the first half thanks to Tommy Pickens, 12 points.

Chatsworth blew the game wide open in the 2nd half to win by 30 points 77-47 and will match up in the finals against Tajh Ariza's Westchester squad Friday night.
