Liz Lieber - "Play Pretend" (*In My Room* Edition)

This is a song I wrote a few years ago when I was feeling overwhelmed, and wished I could go back to being a kid again. Fast forward to December 2023, I'm on FaceTime for a co-write with the legendary Jack Tempchin (writer of "Peaceful Easy Feeling" and other hits). We were trying to think of a new song idea, but then resorted to going through old lyric ideas. He heard these unfinished lyrics, and said "We need to finish that". The rest is history :)
