Nilagdaan na ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr. ang kontrobersyal na batas na nagtatatag ng sovereign wealth fund o mas kilala sa tawag na Maharlika Investment Fund.

Naniniwala ang pangulo na makatutulong ang MIF sa pag-angat ng ekonomiya at hindi na rin kailangang umutang ang bansa para sa ipatutupad na mga proyekto.
