Shenmue II is PHENOMENAL! (Shenmue 2 Review)

The Shenmue II, 2 Hour long review is finally here! Pretty sure this is the longest review of this game ever, and honestly? I'm happy to be the one to say that! This took 3 whole months to finally wrap up production on, and I hope it was worth it! Didn't expect this one to turn out as long as it did, that story segment was fun to work on but ~50 minutes is something else!

These games have been cult classics since they released on the SEGA Dreamcast and Microsoft Xbox almost 20 years ago, so to finally cover a game I know is more widely beloved than any that came before it was no small task, hopefully I did it justice for you all! (Despite some of the errors, sorry about that!)

This might actually be the best review I've released yet! It's in depth, the audio was mixed well, and the voice over was most certainly improved on in multiple categories. At this rate, I might end up working at IGN in the future, who knows!

Let me know in the comments, is there something I forgot to mention? Or do you have a different opinion about some things? I'd love to hear what other fans of the game think! I honestly love the Shenmue games so I hope that this review can at least get a few more people interested in the series, the more the merrier right?

Anyway that's me spent for this description, keep an eye out for November 19th as I'll try and get the Shenmue 3 review out by then! In the meantime I might try my hand at one more to fill the time, but you'll have to hang around to see what that one is!

Corrections/Things Missed:
1) The HD Version allows you to change volume levels, fixing previous audio mixing problems.
2) The Xbox version is much blurrier than the Dreamcast version.
3) At the start of the Gameplay section I say the wrong amount of time into the review that portion is placed.
4) No increase in load times is mentioned, though with each iteration they were sped up.
5) Section questioning why HD Version actually letterboxes cutscenes was cut. Runs in close to 16:9 on Dreamcast and Xbox releases.
6) Reception segment was cut entirely, will instead be at start of Shenmue 3 review.
7) Voice lines being compressed wasn't mentioned.
8) Scenes with no audio leave a huge impact, not mentioning this was a big mistake!
9) QTE sound changes in Guilin.
