On October 9, 2023, the Nagoya-originated classic car event "Coppa Centro Giapone" celebrated its second edition.

At the main venue in Hisaya Odori Park, a special exhibition was held in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Among the exhibits was the legendary "787B Car #55," which secured an overall victory for MAZDA in 1991, officially.

The 787B made history by becoming the first Japanese car, and the first with a non-reciprocating engine, to win, establishing a cornerstone in Japanese motorsports.
It took 21 years from its first participation, and in its final year with a rotary engine due to rule changes, it finally claimed the championship.

Back in the day, I remember being glued to the TV, watching it in real-time and celebrating with my father.

This time, with permission from MAZDA, I had the privilege of closely capturing the moment when the 787B was being transported for the special exhibition.
From the moment it was lowered from the transporter, seemingly within reach, bathed in rich light, it was incredibly divine. Capturing this very precious moment.

From the transportation process to the grand exhibition featuring historic cars that shone at Le Mans, I've compiled it into a PV.
Have fun.
